A couple days ago we were…

A couple days ago we were staying in the heart of Snowdonia at the base of Snowdon itself. Took a bit of a walk to the nearby lake where the famous “Lone Tree” can be found. However there was a bit of a problem, Netflix were filming right next to it but a friendly local showed me around a small barrier to its location. This shot was pretty much a grab shot, in and out before someone hassled me. You might see in the photo, a slight distraction, a giant floating pontoon being moved into position for a piece of the set to be lowered onto it. Later on when driving away we watched them lower a wooden boat onto it for night filming I can only guess. Later on we found out that the film being made, is for an upcoming season of The Witcher!
