Over the last two days I’…

Over the last two days I’ve been sharing the photos from my visit to Whitchurch, part one in my bridges project and this is the more traditional angle and the light was starting to settle down after a bright August day. Pangbourne meadows were very busy but I found a quiet patch to take this photo.

I love this bridge, it’s an absolute beauty. It was first built in 1792 and has been renovated a couple of times, most recently in 2014. It’s one of the remaining two privately owned Toll Bridges on the River Thames.
